Golden Gate Canyon State Park

A good sunny day in the winter is a day not to be wasted, and we didn’t. We packed some lunch and off we went for a hike in Golden Gate Canyon State park.

The park ranger suggested Panorama Point for a 3 mile hike. We got to the View point and it was so gorgeous. Beautiful snow capped mountains everywhere around you.

We looked around, through the telescope and it was breath taking.

We started from there on the Racoon trail. It was about 3 miles back to this point. Entire trail was snow covered. Mostly ice and slush. We had our spikes on, so it wasn’t that slippery.

It was so pretty that we couldn’t believe that it was so deserted. Walk in the snow and picnic šŸ™‚ Another beautiful state park near Denver.
