Standley Lake is a 1,200-acre reservoir located in Westminster, Colorado.
We went to this huge lake in the evening and the shades of blue was just speculator.
As long as we could see we saw only the beautiful shades of blue. On one of the sides were the mountains. It was a picture prefect place. The lake was open for recreational purposes like boating and other water activities but fishing was prohibited. The boats in the lake creates small waves at the end. All of us who badly miss the waves of beaches and the sand in our feet, were a little satisfied by this spot.
