Last friday we watched “Pretty woman” and also caught the concert of SHEL. The amazing part is, we did all that on the rocks..Yes! Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Did you know – it is a geological phenomenon – the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world.
The view from there was just beautiful. We could see the skyline of the Denver downtown from there and as it got darker the view was stunning. Luckily for us, it was a full moon day that night not to forget it was blue moon day. (meaning a larger moon as closer to earth)
The cold breeze, beautiful natural setting and one of the best Romcom of all times – Pretty Woman made the evening just so memorable. Not to forget the band which played before – SHEL. They were 4 sisters just rocking the stage who drew the entire 7000 audience’s attention. My favourite was the Violin. It was just so soothing.
The audio was so clear and perfect that one can’t believe that you are in a open air Amphitheatre amidst the mountains!
