After the hike to the hanging lake, we went to hot springs to relax and rejuvenate. Luckily for us, Iron Mountain hot springs just started that day and we decided to give that a shot.
It is a spring that is heated geothermal by the earth’s curst. The water is filled with minerals and said to have healing and therapeutic values. Hot springs are said to revitalize the skin, calm the nerves, detoxify the body and refresh the oxygen levels.
The Iron Mountain hot springs has various small pools with varying temperatures. The highest temperature was 108 F but sadly that particular pool was quite small for a few people to sit in. Pools had a varying temperature of 95 F to 108 F. You can order for any drinks to your pool and just sit in, relax. They also had a huge swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The hot springs are said to be more enjoyable in the winter.
Body and the mind was so relaxed after the soak in the hot springs! I guess the minerals did the magic.
